Atanas Kolev is a Chess Grandmaster with more than 30 years of practice and he has achieved a remarkable number of victories in international chess tournaments. His highest FIDE rating is 2602, January 2012. GM Atanas Kolev played four Olympiads for Bulgarian National Team and was a Champion of Bulgaria.
Grandmaster Kolev has worked as a coach of the Bulgarian women’s  national team and he has helped some of the best Bulgarian chess players (like ex –world champion GM Antoaneta Stefanova, GM Kiril Georgiev, GM Vasil Spasov and many others talented young players).
As a sign of his great results in 2013 the Bulgarian Chess Federation proclaimed GM Atanas Kolev an Honored Coach of the year.
Chess Grandmaster Kolev is a co-author of three books on one of the most popular debuts in chess game - The Sharpest Sicilian, The Easiest Sicilian and The Sharpest Sicilian 2012.
Atanas Kolev speaks fluently English, Spanish, Russian and Bulgarian (native) and it is up to you what language you prefer to get the best chess lessons.
